Priory Park is a compact, established residential area in south-central Guelph. It is positioned between the older central city and the larger commercial and institutional destinations along Stone Road and College Avenue. The neighbourhood is more varied in housing type than many nearby detached-home districts.
Detached houses, townhouse complexes, condominium properties and apartment buildings sit within a relatively small area. This range makes it important to compare not only streets, but also ownership structure, parking, outdoor space and monthly fees when evaluating individual properties.
Approximate location
Priory Park is generally associated with the area around Scottsdale Drive, Janefield Avenue, Torch Lane and Stone Road West, between College Avenue and Stone Road. It is west of Edinburgh Road South and east of the Hanlon corridor.

The housing stock includes established detached homes, link and semi-detached homes, townhouses, condominiums and rental apartment buildings. Many properties date from the later twentieth century, with renovations and infill creating additional variation.

Stone Road, College Avenue, Edinburgh Road and the Hanlon Expressway provide access across the city. Stone Road Mall, the University of Guelph and commercial services along Stone and Scottsdale are nearby.
